Appropriated

I appropriated this image from a Tesco window display.

I’m Hating

Partial list of things I’m hating on:
1. Continued coverage of Michael Jackson death.
2. People that don’t shower before jumping into the pool.
3. Chelsea FC
4. Web 2.0

Advert

I saw this advert, with Iggy Pop hawking some type of car insurance, the same week that Jacko died.

Most people at Wimbledon are well behaved. I did witness some foolishness though.

King Of Pop

See if you can spot the ‘real’ news story from this week:
1. The ‘King of Pop’ dies.
2. Protests in Iran continue despite threats from the ‘Supreme’ leader.
3. South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford, a bible thumping ‘Republican’ admits to affair with Argentine mistress.

Neda

The Islamic revolution is not working.

Start Buying

“Initially created as an attempt by the aristocracy to control - and profit from - the actions of the merchant class, corporations slowly became more powerful, setting up new codes that encouraged people to stop producing things and start buying.” - The Guardian - in a book review of Douglas Rushkoff, June 16, 2009

Banned

Didier Drogba will miss at least four European matches after being banned for his reaction to Chelsea’s Champions League semi-final defeat by Barcelona ‘is a tit’. - BBC News, June 17, 2009

Energy Drink

Coffee is the only energy drink I have an interest in.

The Trash

The conversation has been moved to the Trash.
We will have 90 mins of maintenance starting at 9:45p Pacific today, June 15.
What’s on your mind?

After Death

Flu risk ’still low’ after death - BBC News headline, June 16, 2009

Is It With

What is it with the French?

A Diver

Cristiano Ronaldo
pretty boy
overpaid
crybaby
and most of all
a diver.
You will not be missed around these parts.

Slippers

Still life with slippers and electrical cord.

Tube Strike

London tube strike chaos
is a real drag.
