Bacon, Hams

Bacon, Hams, Sausages, Salamis. Here in Chicago, we love our meats. Tomorrow is the big immigration march. I’m looking forward to taking part in it.

She Suggested

She suggested that I try another agency. Things were a bit tough at hers. Perhaps I misunderstood a conversation. That is not surprising.

I Expected

I expected opposition when I decided to post this picture. I didn’t care. Failure to post is not an option.

I hear the voices, and I read the front page, and I know the speculation. But I’m the decider, and I decide what is best. And what’s best is to post this picture of some very fat goldfish.

What do photographers mean when they refer to their work as fine art? How is that work different from the editorial, commercial, portrait and wedding sections of their portfolios? Who can we trust to deliver fine art?

The Homeowner

The homeowner was dressed all in black. She didn’t seem to be interested in any small talk.

I Would Never

I would never declassify a picture to get back at a critic. Even if the critic was able to cast doubts about my intentions in the run up to the shutter release.

I have decided to declassify this picture today. This is the alley behind my local Osco.

I Like

I like going into other peoples homes and taking pictures of what they have.

My Bed

This is an image from a series that will be in a show later this spring. I’ll post an invitation for the opening.

Tuesday

This is a car wash that I pass by on the way to the post office. I don’t have a car. The real point of this post is to see how the page looks and loads when there are a number of entries on it.

Wall Hanger

Apparently this was purchased from ebay. Amazing what they have there. The real point of this post is to see how the vertical image fits on the page.

Spring

Spring is the best time of year. Things become new again. It is a good time to receive visitors. Bring a jacket if you come to Chicago.

Image Test

Hopefully the image will be below this type. Centered.

The Second

Test post.
